L'Église - deux articles

What is the Church? It is all true Christians, children of God on earth, sealed with the Holy Spirit. The descent of the Holy Spirit on earth at Pentecost, an event of capital importance, united together in one body, the body of Christ, and linked to the glorified Head in heaven. There is only one Church, not churches; and there was only one church (or assembly) in the beginning. The human creation of particular churches or denominations (Catholic, Protestant or other) is a human invention totally contrary to the mind of God and the teaching of His Word, and Christianity has sunk into ecclesiastical ruin. The saints who understood this are led to withdraw from iniquity (2 Tim. 2:19) and strive to keep the unity of the Spirit (Eph. 4:1-3).
