Many young Christians are unhappy, finding that they have no strength to do good (Romans 7:18). Through this painful experience, God leads them to understand what sin really is, that is, the flesh. But beyond that, Romans 6 brings freedom from sin, the law and the world, and with them rest. Romans 8 adds the power and consecration of the Christian.
